Pigeon Lake is part of a tri-lake water system consisting of Pigeon Lake, Buckhorn Lake, and Chemong Lake. The lake is situated between the City of Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough. Pigeon Lake is 27 km long and up to 3 km wide, extending north from Omemee to Bobcaygeon. The lake hosts several fishing tournaments each year with bountiful game fish such as perch, walleye, and bass. Its depth ranges from 3 to 15 metres. Emily Provincial Park is located on Pigeon Lake as well as the Gamiing Nature Centre on the western shore where you can buy native plants from their nursery to support wildlife conservation efforts.
